The Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Regional Government bans tools that are incompatible with the educational process in schools
ARK News… the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Regional Government on Tuesday issued a circular about banning tools that do not comply with the educational process in schools.
The circular carried to the Directorate of Education the signature of the Minister of Education in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Alan Hama Saeed, in which it stated the need to begin banning all tools that do not comply with the standards of the educational process within schools.
Among the materials that the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Regional Government will prohibit from bringing into schools are the following:
1- Possession and use of harmful and dangerous weapons and equipment, and in the event of their possession, apart from administrative procedures, the responsible authorities within the government must be informed of the matter through the Directorate of General Education to take action.
2- Cigarettes and hookahs of all kinds.
3- Commercial advertisements, political activity, and all other activities far from education.
4-Using physical, psychological and moral violence in addition to destructive behavior.
5- Using slogans that are incompatible with the principles of peaceful coexistence for the people of Kurdistan.
6- It is not allowed in any way to use mobile devices and smart devices for photography or video recording and to open live broadcasts of social networking sites during school hours.
The above points include students as well as principals and their assistants, as well as teachers.
In order to implement these points, the education directorates in the districts will form a permanent committee to monitor their smooth progress.
