The Syrian Observatory: The Revolutionary Youth of the PKK continues to recruit children in western Kurdistan
ARK News... The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, on Friday, said that the so-called "Revolutionary Youth" affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) continues to violate the rights of the child by recruiting them militarily in Syrian Kurdistan, calling for an end to the continuous violations of this organization in the eastern Euphrates region, and to work on stopping it.
The Observatory said in a report seen by ARK News: "The so-called revolutionary youth continues to polarize and include minors in its camps, in a flagrant and clear violation of human rights and international conventions signed by the PYD administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)," adding, "There are no demands from parents to stop the exploitation of children." Recruiting them to take up arms, nor those covenants and agreements, managed to stand in the way of the youth who are still stealing childhood, depriving children of their right to education.”
The observatory demanded, "to meet the popular demands to improve their living and social conditions, and not to harm them just because they called for their rights. The countries of the international coalition should also work more to prevent the return of ISIS through more security operations against their active and sleeper cells in different areas of the east of the Euphrates, which threatens the return of ISIS." Its great activity is local, regional, and international security alike.
The observatory also called on the PYD, SDF, and the responsible parties to put an end to the continuous violations of the revolutionary youth inside the eastern Euphrates region, and work to stop these violations.
