ARK News… Satellite images showed that Russia withdrew the S-300 air defense system from Syria, and moved it towards the Black Sea, with the aim of supporting the military operation in Ukraine.

The website "The Drive" said that the S-300 surface-to-air missile system (SAM) arrived in Syria in 2018 to support the Syrian air defense system and protect Russian interests.

It added: "Now it seems that Moscow has regained its 'gift' and its shipment towards the Black Sea."

According to what was observed by the satellites of the private "Image Sat" company, the area in which the "S-300" system was located near the Syrian city of Masyaf "is now empty."

On the other hand, the Russian system appeared in Tartous, specifically at the Russian naval base, waiting for the cargo ship "Sparta 2".

A short time later, "Sparta 2", a well-known carrier of Russian military equipment, passed through the Bosphorus towards the Black Sea.

Satellites monitored that the ship arrived, on Saturday, at Novorossiysk, the main base of the Russian Navy's fleet in the Black Sea.
