The wife of the Ukrainian president to Israel: “We consider you an example for us”
ARK News... The wife of Ukrainian President Olena Zelensky, on Sunday, said that her country "considers Israel an inspiration for steadfastness due to its history of attacks from its neighbors," as she put it, and that "Israel's experience inspires Ukrainian citizens."
“We see the strength and resilience of the Israelis in the difficult situation that Israel has found itself in for many years,” Zelensky told Israel Channel 12.
“When we look at Israel, we see their strength, determination, and flexibility in dealing with the situation they have been in for years, which is not a simple matter,” she said. “We consider you as an example to us.”
“According to the estimates of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, about 15 million Ukrainian citizens will need mental health assistance, so we had no time to waste, and we had to start working immediately,” Zelensky noted.
