ARK News: The Pentagon on Friday announced that it will provide $820 million in new military aid to Ukraine.

Pentagon spokesman Todd Presley said in a press statement that the ministry announced additional security assistance to Ukraine worth $820 million, which includes “Hermas” high-mobility artillery missile systems, in addition to two advanced NASAMS surface-to-air missile systems, and up to 150 thousand rounds of 155 mm artillery ammunition, and four anti-artillery radars.

"The United States continues to work with its allies and partners to provide Ukraine with the capabilities to meet evolving battlefield requirements," he added.

In early June, the US Department of Defense announced its readiness to send a new military aid package to Ukraine, this time including missile launchers, helicopters, and anti-armor missiles, with the aim of confronting the Russian invasion.

It is noteworthy that the United States has so far allocated nearly $7.6 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since President Joe Biden took office in 2021, including about $6.9 billion since the start of the Russian war against Kyiv on February 24.

Since 2014, the United States has allocated more than $8.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine
