ARK News... In a report on the violations that took place in Syria during 2021, Amnesty International confirmed that in 85% of the cases of enforced disappearances that occurred in Syria, the Syrian regime bears responsibility.

Amnesty International said: More than 100,000 Syrians are still forcibly disappeared, about 85% of them at the hands of the armed men of the Syrian regime. Dozens of cases of sexual violence against civilians have been documented.

Amnesty International said: The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic has documented cases of sexual violence in detention in government facilities, including rape, assault, and sexual humiliation against women, men, girls, and boys as young as 11 years old.
