Afrin… Assault and kidnapping of Kurdish citizens
ARK News... A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook, on 05.11.2021, said that Members of the Faylaq Al-Sham militia "Syrian National Army", on Wednesday morning, 03/11/2021, raided the homes of the Kurdish indigenous people in the village of Iska of Sherawa area in a barbaric - intimidating manner and severely assaulted them because of their attachment to the land and accusing them of dealing with the former de facto authority of the PYD Administration, they kidnapped more than ten citizens, including women, whose names are as follows:
1 - Hikmat Jamal Selkie.
2 - Asum Hanan, 47 years old.
3 - Ahmed Majeed Ramo, 35 years old.
4 - Peshawar Subhi Brimo, 31 years old.
5- Bakr Nori Barakat, 30 years old.
6 - Jamal Muhammad Alo, 35 years old.
7- Hassan Samir Bazo, 25 years old.
8 - Fadel Abdul Rahman, 32 years old.
9- Muhammad Ali Othman
10 - Walid Haider Ma'mo, 45 years old.
11 - Nori Anwar Selkie
12 - Nabu Ali Alo
The organization added that the citizen Hassan Ibo and his daughter-in-law were beaten in front of the people of the village because they refused the kidnapping and the usual accusation of every Kurd in the area, and they were taken to the militia’s security headquarters without knowing their fate so far.
It is worth mentioning that since the invasion of the Turkish army and the armed factions and groups Afrin region, kidnappings campaigns against Kurdish civilians continue with false pretexts.
