The body of a Russian diplomat was found outside his embassy in Berlin
ARK News... The German magazine Spiegel revealed that the police forces in the capital, Berlin, found the body of a 35-year-old Russian diplomat, in front of his country's embassy.
The magazine said in a report on Friday that the police found the body on the sidewalk in front of the Russian embassy on the morning of October 19.
It noted that the Russian diplomat, who is believed to have fallen from the top floor of the embassy building on Bahrain Street, has been accredited as the second secretary since 2019.
According to the report, German security authorities believe that the aforementioned person is an employee of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and a relative of one of the service's senior officials.
He stressed that the Russian embassy did not allow an autopsy to be carried out and that the German public prosecutor could not conduct an investigation into his death because he had diplomatic status.
He stated that the body had been transferred to Russia and that the Russian Embassy in Berlin had spoken of the matter as a "tragic accident", and declined to comment "for moral reasons."
It quoted German Foreign Ministry spokesman Christopher Burger, as saying that the ministry was aware of the incident, but he could not give details due to privacy.
