Peshmerga repels an attack by ISIS terrorists in Pirde
ARK News… Peshmerga forces on Wednesday repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists in the Pirde axis (Altun Kopri) in Kirkuk governorate.
In a statement, the Ministry of Peshmerga said that the attack took place at around 10:30 pm on Wednesday 3/11/2021 when the terrorists targeted one of the points of the second regiment of the 10th Brigade in the Peshmerga forces and that the Peshmerga repelled the attack and pursued the attackers who fled.
Security sources said that ISIS militants targeted one of the 10th Peshmerga Brigade in Pirde with sniper weapons, while the Peshmerga forces responded to the attack.
The sources pointed out that the Peshmerga forces forced ISIS to flee, without causing any losses among the Kurdish forces.
