Aldar Khalil: The PYD and its administration are ready for direct dialogue with the Syrian regime without preconditions

ARK News… A member of the PYD's presidential body announced his readiness for direct dialogue with the Syrian regime, without preconditions.

During an interview with the PYD-affiliated Rojava TV, Aldar Khalil, a member of the PYD’s presidential body, said, “The Autonomous Administration of Northeast Syria (the PYD Administration) and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) are fully prepared to start a direct dialogue with the Syrian regime without preconditions.”

Aldar Khalil said: Syria is under the sovereignty of those who are now ruling in Damascus, and the only solution lies in dialogue and negotiation with that government.

Aldar Khalil's statement, "Dialogue with the Syrian regime without preconditions," comes at a time when the PYD, the PKK's wing in Syrian Kurdistan, is working to sabotage negotiations with the Kurdish parties and parties in Syrian Kurdistan.

The PYD still constitutes a major obstacle to the resumption of dialogue and negotiations between the ENKS and the PYNK, for the sake of the unity of the Kurdish ranks in Syrian Kurdistan, and stresses that the only solution lies in sitting in the arms of the regime and kneeling before Bashar al-Assad.
