Idris Zozani: The PKK and the Popular Mobilization have agreed to release the ISIS detainees held by the QSD

ARK News… The media officer of the Shingal branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party revealed that the PKK and the Popular Mobilization have agreed to release ISIS detainees held by the PKK branch in Kurdistan Syria, including Iraqi ISIS militants.

Idris Zozani, the media officer for the Shingal branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, said during his participation in the ARK bulletin that there is a secret agreement between the PKK and the Popular Mobilization on the release of ISIS from the prisons of the QSD in Syrian Kurdistan, and a few days ago, a large number of ISIS detainees by QSD were handed over Arab clans, including Iraqi clans.

Zozani stressed that the PKK brings the released ISIS members to Shingal and hands them over to the Popular Mobilization, and there are great fears among the people of Shingal, that the PKK and the Popular Mobilization will use these ISIS militants against the Yezidi Kurds, and therefore this matter constitutes a major threat, and the PKK is working to undermine the security of the entire region.

Zozani added: By concluding this agreement, the people of Shingal are punished by the PKK, who affirmed in the Iraqi parliamentary elections their rejection of the presence of the PKK in Shingal, and that they want the legitimate administration to return to Shingal.

According to what was confirmed by the media officer of the Shingal branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party: According to the agreement, these ISIS militants were released in Wadi Horan in Anbar, in exchange for previously agreed-upon sums of money.
