A brief about his life:
The militant Sharif Sheikhi is the older brother of Abdul Rahman Sheikhi, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria. He joined the Kurdish movement in Syrian Kurdistan, from his early childhood, in the mid-sixties, and defended the cause of his people until his death.

He was a leader in the Labor Party in the early eighties, and because of his bold stances, he was harassed by the Syrian regime.

In addition to his party work, he was an employee in the silos of the city of Derbasiya, he was characterized by his high morals and integrity in the region, and this integrity was an obstacle to merchants and senior officials in passing their illegal projects, so he was targeted by them and was arbitrarily released, after serving for tens of years under accusations that he poses a threat to the security of the state.

The beginning of the establishment of the Kurdish National Council in Syria in 2011. He participated in the establishment of the Council and remained loyal to the causes of his people, as well as clinging to the land of our forefathers.
