Statement from the US Embassy on the Kurdish Negotiations
ARK News... Last night the US embassy in Damascus published a statement on the Kurdish negotiations in Syrian Kurdistan, confirming America's support for those negotiations, noting that the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Joey Hood urged all parties to participate in direct talks in order to build common solutions.
Joey Hood spoke separately in the past week with the Kurdish National Council leadership and Kurdish National Unity Parties' Executive Council to reaffirm U.S. support for intra-Kurdish dialogue.
He urged all parties to engage in direct talks to build shared solutions to the problems the people of Syrian Kurdistan face.
