PKK militants prevent studying the Kurdish language in Shangal
ARK News: A source working in the educational corps in the city of Shangal reveals that the Iraqi government through its allies in Shangal obstruct the start of the new academic year in the Kurdish language.
In a statement to the site of ARK News a source working in the educational corps in the city of Shangal revealed that the Government of Baghdad blocked the start of the new school year (2018-2019) in the city of Shangal Kurdistan, on the pretext that the curriculum is in the Kurdish language in that region, and this will negatively affect the future of the Shangal children .
The source added that the Iraqi government implemented its obstructing project to start the school year through the militias of the Hashed el-Shabi, and the militants of the PKK.
The prevention of PKK militants to start the school year in the city of Shangal in Kurdish comes, while the imposition of the curriculum in the Kurdish language of Qandil philosophy in western Kurdistan.
