The President of the Kurdistan Region and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France discuss several important issues
ARK New: The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, on Tuesday, in Paris, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
According to a statement by the Presidency of the Region: Nechirvan Barzani and Le Drian discussed ways to strengthen the relations of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq with France, the situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the region, elections, and the political process in Iraq.
The two sides discussed the dangers of terrorism, the resurgence of ISIS, the tasks of the international coalition in Iraq, and the conditions of the components, the displaced and refugees in the Kurdistan Region.
The President of the Kurdistan Region and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France affirmed the bilateral desire to develop relations between Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with France and stressed the necessity of continuing the tasks of the international coalition against ISIS and helping Iraq to confront terrorism.
