ARK News… Kurdish politician Osman Ocalan said that the PKK is a Turkish force linked to agendas and is not an independent party with its decision, indicating that it does not want stability and security to prevail in the Kurdistan Region.

Ocalan, who is the brother of the PKK leader imprisoned in Turkey, said in an interview with Kurdistan 24 that the goal of the PKK is that Turkey's activities against the Kurdistan Region continue, and its goal is not to fight Turkey, so as long as the Kurdish workers are present, the activity of the Turkish forces against the Kurdistan Region will continue.

Ocalan stressed that "the Workers' Party has used its forces from the beginning against the Kurdish forces, so it does not accept that the region will enjoy stability and tranquility. It wants to intervene in all places and find this interference its right."

He added, "The PKK wants its forces to be present in all the squares of Kurdistan and not for any other party, or force. It does not want Kurdistan to be liberated and seeks to use all Kurdish forces for its own benefit as a party."

He also asserted, "The Kurdistan Workers is not an independent party, but rather is linked to agendas. Rather, it is a Turkish force and wants all Kurdish parties to be linked and that the Kurds will not be able to liberate and obtain their rights."

During the past months, militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) targeted the Peshmerga forces in more than one place, and the attacks resulted in casualties from the Peshmerga forces.

On Saturday, a mine explosion planted by the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants killed a Peshmerga fighter and wounded another in the northeast of Erbil.

The Kurdistan Regional Government constantly calls on both the PKK and Turkey not to make the territory of the region a battlefield, especially after civilian casualties due to clashes between the two conflicting parties.

The PKK still continues to reject the calls of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and often violates its laws and attacks the official bodies in the region.
