ARK News… A leader in the Kurdistan Yekity Party - Syria said that because of the pressures that the PYD suffers from and the countless mistakes, he published a report containing incorrect details about the Kurdish National Council in Syria, and the purpose of that is to distort the image of the National Council and throw their mistakes on the shoulders of the Council.

During his participation in the “CIVAT” program, which is broadcast on ARK TV, Fouad Aliko, a member of the political committee of the Kurdistan Yekity Party, said: At the beginning of the Syrian revolution and after the Kurdish movement in Syrian Kurdistan refused to stand on the side of the Syrian regime, the regime met with Qandil cadres in the city of Sulaimaniyah under the supervision of Iran, with the aim of eliminating the Syrian revolution, "the Kurdish section."

Aliko added: At the beginning of the council’s establishment, we held talks with the PYD that lasted for more than three months, but they failed due to their procrastination, their agreement, and coordination with the Syrian regime. Years later, specifically in 2014, ISIS besieged the city of Kobani, and it was on the verge of total collapse, which led to President Masoud Barzani's dissatisfaction, as he invited us to Erbil and insisted to reach an agreement between the two parties and accept the existing solutions.

Fouad Aliko added: Those who carry out the revolutions have a goal and demands from a certain side, and the PYD claims to carry out the revolution, and up to now neither their goal nor the party against which they revolted is clear to the Kurdish people.
