President Barzani hopes to find a political solution that will save all components in Syria
ARK News… President Masoud Barzani, on Sunday, February 7, 2021, in Salahuddin, Sheikh Hamid Daham al-Hadi, Sheikh and head of the Shummar tribe in Syria.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the situation and the latest political developments in Syria, and the two sides also referred to the historical relations between the Kurdish and Arab peoples and stressed the need to strengthen fraternal relations between the Kurds and Arabs and all components in Syria, especially in the al-Jazira region.
At the same meeting, President Barzani spoke with great care about the unstable situation in Syria, expressing his hope for a comprehensive political solution that would save all components in Syria from past misfortunes and disasters.
President Barzani also stressed the need to maintain stability and security in the region, and to promote a culture of principles of coexistence to become a basis for the return of security and harmony throughout the region.
