Mohsen Taher: The aim of the bombings in Afrin is to expel and displace the remaining Kurds
ARK News… Muhsen Taher, head of the local councils of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Monday, February 1, 2021, condemned the terrorist bombing that struck Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan, last Saturday.
The Kurdish city of Afrin, in the Al-Sina’a area, witnessed a terrorist bombing, which claimed the lives of dozens of civilians.
Muhsen Taher said during his participation in the ARK bulletin: The aim of the bombings, that are occurring almost daily in the city of Afrin and its environs, is to displace the remaining Kurds who cling to their land.
Muhsen added: We in the Kurdish National Council condemn and strongly condemn the terrorist acts that take place in it.
He stressed: We in the Kurdish National Council continue to demand the international bodies to expel the armed factions and militias from Kurdish cities and towns and stop the violations there.
The Kurdish National Council in Syria had called on Turkey to take responsibility for the bombings in Afrin and other cities.
