ARK News… Aslan Rasho, the brother of Nash’at, who was kidnapped by the PYD militants in the city of Aleppo, on Sunday 24 January 2021, appealed to President Masoud Barzani and the humanitarian and human rights organizations to pressure the PYD to release his brother, who was kidnapped ten months ago.

The PYD militants kidnapped the young Nash’at Rasho from the village of Hassan Dera in the Afrin region in Syrian Kurdistan, on 4-4-2020, and there is no information about him until this moment.

The brother of the kidnapped person stated in exclusive statements to ARK News: His brother, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria "PDK-S", was kidnapped in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, in light of the complete absence of information about his health condition and the reasons behind his abduction for this period.

Regarding the accusation attached to his sick brother, he said: The PYD militants attacked the Turkish MIT accusation to him and told him: You are the one who sold Afrin.

He continued: They managed to get him out of Afrin at a cost of 10,000 US dollars through smuggling, then he fled to Aleppo, to be arrested days after his arrival in Aleppo, without information about him and his health condition.

He added: The last visit to the family was a long time ago, as he was living in poor health conditions, and they reported that he was subjected to brutal torture in prison that led to his paralysis and that he needed weekly treatment injections as they were told.

Aslan appealed to President Masoud Barzani, charity organizations, and the concerned authorities to immediately intervene, to release his brother, who suffers from chronic diseases.
