Derik… PYD militants return to raid houses, arrest and extort civilians
The kidnappings and arrests of Kurdish civilians at the hands of masked de facto authorities the PYD have resumed in the cities and towns of Syrian Kurdistan.
An armed patrol of the PYD, on Thursday 17/12/2020, at around 4 p.m., raided the village of Tawkil, in the Derik area, and fired their rifles and heavy machine guns heavily, backed by armored vehicles, then they attacked the village of Tawkil, brutally, and kidnapped (3) people from Roj Peshmerga families.
While they were being taken to the detention centers, they were asking them about their sons who are volunteering in the Peshmerga, in reference to the Syrian Kurdish youth who are affiliated with the Roj Peshmerga.
