ARK News… Thursday, December 3, 2020, coincided with the 19th anniversary of the departure of the fighter Majid Hajo, one of the prominent national and cultural-political figures in Syrian Kurdistan, who devoted most of his life to serving the Kurdish issue, the Kurdish people and the approach of Barzani the immortal.

About struggle and biography of Majid Hajo:

The fighter Majid Jajan Hajo Agha is one of the first generation fighters who defended the Kurdish issue in Syria, and he is a descendant of a well-known national family.

Majid Jajan Hajo Agha was born in 1929 and obtained his high school diploma (baccalaureate) in 1948.

He joined the ranks of the PDK-S now in 1958, where he was one of the first to join the party and fought in its ranks with all dedication and sincerity in defense of the Kurdish issue.

The threat and arrest did not detract him from the Kurdish line he followed, so he was arrested in 1960 in the Mazzeh prison in Damascus with a group of militants, and he was arrested with his uncle Jamil Hajo in 1966 in Hasaka prison.

In addition to his political struggle, the late man provided clear services to the Kurdish language and literature, as he headed the editor of Galawej magazine between 1979 and 1980 and was one of its writers.

The fighter Majid Hajo passed away on December 3, 2001, after spending most of his life defending the Kurdish issue and the Kurdish people and their just rights, and he remained until the last day of his life loyal to Barzani's immortal approach that he believed in and fought in his path as he provided everything he could to serve the Peshmerga and the revolution Kurdish at the time
