Afrin... The release of two Kurdish girls from the prisons of armed groups
ARK News… The armed faction, on Saturday, October 5, 2020, released two Kurdish girls in the Kurdish region of Afrin, who were kidnapped with their father in 2018.
The local sources told ARK News: The factions released the two girls, Login and Nojeen Abdo, more than two years after their abduction. While the fate of their father is still unknown.
The two girls, who hail from the village of Dumilya of Mabata town appeared in a video clip posted on May 5, 2020, in the prisons of the al-Hamzat militiamen in the Mahmuodiya neighborhood of Afrin.
A number of Kurdish women who were kidnapped by the al-Hamzat, on false charges, appeared during the storming of the al-Hamzat headquarters in Mahmuodiya, and although they were transferred to the police, their fate is still unknown, except for the released ones.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin asserts that the fate of more than 500 kidnapped by the factions is unknown so far.
