Aleppo… Displaced people from Afrin protest regime’s prohibition of the entry of fuel and medicine to Shahba area
ARK News… Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that tens of displaced people from Afrin and residents of the Shaba area demonstrating in front of a checkpoint of the 4th Division. The demonstrators protested the ongoing siege imposed on the Shaba area by regime forces which have prohibited the entry of fuel and medicine for unknown reasons.
The Observatory added that the demonstrators held empty Jerri cans in their hands, hinting to the need to allow the entry of gasoline used for heating to the area in light of the cold weather.
The Observatory also added that displaced people from Afrin and the Shahba area in the northern countryside of Aleppo protested the regime’s siege imposed on the region, as regime forces banned the entry of flour, fuel, and medicines to the region for nearly six months for unknown reasons.
The Observatory concluded that the demonstrators attacked a checkpoint affiliated to the “4th Division” near the entrance of the Shahba area, while the checkpoint’s members fled for fear of the angry residents.
