Afrin... The pro-Turkish armed factions militiamen impose ransom and looting on Kurdish civilians

The organization added that armed militiamen of the Al Nukhba faction led by Brigadier General Moataz Raslan controlling over the village of Omar Simo in the Shara town during the past two days, on 03/04/12/2020, imposed on the people a royalty in kind of 2 olive oil containers for each family, after they stole the fruits and yields of more than 27,000 olive trees, as they pruned the olive trees belonging to the forcibly displaced citizens and transferred the firewood for sale, note that they prevent the Kurdish indigenous people from transporting firewood from the middle of their fields to homes except by obtaining a license issued by the local council of the town and in a limited quantity, while armed militiamen and settlers carry firewood after cutting olive and pine trees in trucks or agricultural tractors without being monitored.
The organization also added that the faction members, on Tuesday 01/12/2020, searched the house of Mohammed Isa (Mukhtar of Derwish village) of Shara town under the pretext that he possessed weapons of all kinds (tanks - artillery - machine guns) and kidnapped him for four days, and then released him, for the purpose of material extortion and insulting in front of the settlers and the indigenous Kurdish population.
