Karim added that another city ranked among the cleanest cities in Iraq, Diyala city, whose residents were affected by the people of Erbil, where they spent years of displacement before returning to their city.
Siyamand Karim indicated that the problem of garbage collection in the Kani Qarjala area in Erbil has been solved, pointing to the possibility of using these waste dumps in the future to generate electric power.
He also pointed to plans to build a modern waste recycling plant in Erbil, and that it will be put up for investment after the necessary preparations are completed.
