ARK News… President Masoud Barzani received, on Thursday, December 2, in Salahuddin, Maxim Maximov, the Russian ambassador to Iraq, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Ambassador to Iraq conveyed the greetings of Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, and Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian President's Special Envoy, to President Barzani.
In the same meeting, the situation and the latest political developments in the region were discussed, and the relations between Erbil and Baghdad were highlighted.
In another axis of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to expand relations between the Kurdistan Region and Russia.
