ARK News… Armed factions continue their inhumane practices against the remaining Kurds in the Afrin region in Syrian Kurdistan. On the 22nd of this month, the armed factions of Ahrar al-Sharqiya kidnapped a number of Kurdish civilians in the village of Baflore in Jenderes township.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin stated: On Sunday, November 22, 2020, the Ahrar al-Sharqiya militia, who controlled the village of Baflore of Jenderes township, kidnapped a number of Kurdish citizens, including four women.

The organization confirmed: The accusation is the dealing with the PYD administration, and they took them to the security headquarters in the town center for the purpose of material extortion and the collection of ransoms, and they are:

1- Adib Mustafa Abbas
2- Aisha Hasso Hamid (Adib's wife)
3- Farida Hamo Hussein
4- Amina Hamida Hanan
5- Shafiqa Muhammad.

The organization added: The militia members are demanding a ransom of between 1500-2000 Turkish liras for their release.

The organization stated in its report: Turkish intelligence agents, accompanied by the Military Police, on Sunday 22/11/2020 kidnapped the 27-year-old Hawker Alou, from Dikke village of the Bulbul town, residing in Afrin, on charges of dealing with the previous administration and compulsory service, bearing in mind that his father, Mustafa Gulin Alo, was previously kidnapped at the Kokane village junction, who was later released.

The organization had appealed to international organizations to reveal the fate of more than 500 Kurdish abductees from Afrin in the prisons of the armed factions and Turkey. Adding that most of the kidnappers were transferred to Turkish prisons.
