Kobani… The death of a young man in a landmine explosion

ARK News: A young man from the city of Kobani in Syrian Kurdistan was killed by a landmine explosion on November 13, 2020.

A source from the city of Kobani told ARK News: The young Sheikh Nabi Hamo lost his life due to the explosion of a landmine in the village of Chil Oghli, west of Kobani.

The source added: The young Hamo, who is 34 years old, was plowing his land in the village. In addition to his death, the tractor was burned.

In connection with this, media activist Mahmoud Isa said in a special statement to ARK News: that 16 explosions occurred in the region at the beginning of 2020.

The activist confirmed: 11 people, including a child, were killed by the explosion of mines planted by the Syrian Democratic Forces, while five others were wounded in the explosions.

Families of the victims call all parties not to use agricultural lands, residential places as war squares, and not to plant mines in them.
