The Peace and Freedom Front delegation meets with the head of the National Coalition

ARK News: The delegation of the Peace and Freedom Front met with the National Coalition for the Forces of the Syrian Revolution and Opposition, and the two parties discussed the situation and developments in the region in general.

Within the framework of its visit to Turkey, on Saturday, the Peace and Freedom Front delegation consisting of Dawoud Dawoud, Muhammad Ismail, Wasef Al-Zab, Suleiman Oso, and Kebriel Koria met with Nasr Al-Hariri, head of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces.

During the meeting, the delegation of the Peace and Freedom Front briefly presented the political vision of the Front, explained its objectives and the purpose of its establishment, and stressed that the Front with its political components reflects the reality of national pluralism in Syria, and includes political forces that worked together and strengthened their relations and understandings in the context of the Syrian revolution and work within the frameworks of the national opposition. It stressed that it seeks to preserve civil peace and spread the culture of coexistence and that it is open to working with all democratic opposition forces in Syria in order to expand the base of their participants to advance a comprehensive national project that expresses the aspirations of Syrians with all their components. It also confirmed that the Front is looking forward to establishing better relations with the United States of America, which we are all aware of the importance of its role in resolving the Syrian crisis.

The Front's delegation also met with the French Consul Antoine, responsible for the Syrian file in Istanbul, and expressed his admiration for the Front's political vision and their support for these directions to solve the Syrian crisis in accordance with international resolutions, especially Resolution 2254, and also showed the French government's support for the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue as a step towards uniting the entire Syrian opposition.

It is worth noting that the establishment of the Peace and Freedom Front took place on July 28, 2020, and consists of: The Syrian Tomorrow Movement, the Arab Council in the Jazira and the Euphrates, the Kurdish National Council in Syria, and the Assyrian Democratic Organization.
