Haj "Daham Miro" was born in the village (Se Girka Miro) Derik area in Syrian Kurdistan in 1921, he took over the leadership of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al-Party) in the conference of Nawbardan in 1970, where the two sides of the party were united at that conference called the Unification Conference under the supervision of Barzani the immortal.
In 1972, at the first conference of the party in the Bamarni region in the Kurdistan region, he was elected secretary of the Party. In 1973, he was imprisoned by the Syrian authorities and remained in prison for 6 years and 8 months, this came after a statement published by al-Party against the project of (Arab Racist Belt) and the result of his national and nationalism positions against the policy of the regime.
Haj Daham Miro was a brave militant in the Kurdistan Liberation Movement and a close friend of the immortal Barzani. He participated in the September Revolution and participated in a number of KDP conferences as an observer.
Haj Daham Miro, former secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al-Party), died on Tuesday afternoon, 02-11-2010 at the age of 90.
His funeral was held at 10 am from Derik city on Wednesday 03-11-2010 to his hometown in the village of Mouzlan in Derik in Syrian Kurdistan, where he was buried.
