ARK News… A military commander from the Peshmerga forces of Shingal prepared them to return to Shingal and establish security there.

Sheikh Majdal, the military leader within the Peshmerga forces, said in statements to Kurdistan 24 channel that ARK News monitored: More than six thousand Peshmerga of Shingal are ready to return to Shingal and establish security there.

The military leader added: The forces include young men from all clans of North and South Sinjar, and they must return to Shingal. The military commander continued: As soon as they received the instructions, they would be in Mount Shingal within two hours.

The governments of Erbil and Baghdad had agreed a few days ago to restore security to Shingal and to expel all illegal armed groups such as the Kurdistan Workers Party and the Popular Mobilization Forces.

The agreement received Kurdish, Iraqi, Arab, and international support. However, the PKK rejected the agreement and refused to leave Shingal, and the Popular Mobilization Forces also expressed its rejection, according to media statements followed by ARK.
