Pilots face terrifying danger after 3 years

ARK News… After 3 years, the pilots will enter the face of a new enemy in the sky, which requires special preparation, according to what US Defense Secretary Mark Esper revealed.

Esper said that the Pentagon intends to conduct live tests of tactical aircraft relying on artificial intelligence against "human pilots".

The announcement comes three weeks after an "artificial intelligence algorithm" defeated a human pilot in a combat simulation between F-16s, something Esper described as an example of a "machine effect" on the future of the Department of Defense.

"The stunning victory of artificial intelligence showed the ability of advanced algorithms to outperform humans in virtual battles," a report by the "Asia Times" website said.

"The algorithm, developed by Heron Systems, easily defeated the fighter pilot in all five rounds," he added.

"These simulations and virtual battles will culminate in a real and live competition involving tactical aircraft against human pilots in 2024," Esper said.

The August 20 standoff was the last hypothetical test linking air combat with artificial intelligence, overseen by the Pentagon Research Agency.
