Call for free elections in Syria: “No reconstruction in Syria in the absence of a political solution”
ARK News… The representative of the United States of America to the Security Council, "Kelly Craft", said that Washington encourages and supports the work of "Geir Pederson", the United Nations special envoy to Syria.
Kraft called for free elections in Syria under the auspices of the United Nations, stressing that the time has come to end the war and corruption in Syria.
“There will be no reconstruction in Syria in the absence of a political solution”, Kraft stressed.
"We are fully aware that the Assad regime has not yet demonstrated its willingness to end the war against you, the Syrian people, and the United States and its allies will stand by you”, Kraft last month addressed the Syrians at a Security Council session.
