Israel strikes southern Syria

ARK News... The Israeli army struck positions of the Syrian army to the border with shelling on the Jewish state, informs the Times of Israel.

The Syrian state agency SANA reported that two people were slightly injured after strikes by the Israeli army on observation posts.

There are Israeli combat helicopters on Friday night defeated several military targets of the Syrian army in Southern Syria in response to shells fired at Israel earlier in the day, the Israeli military said. The military added that the targets included surveillance posts and intelligence gathering tools.

Arab media reported that missiles hit air defense batteries near Quneitra in the Syrian part of the Golan Heights.

On Friday morning, there were explosions at the border and shrapnel hit a house and a car on the Israeli side of the town of Majdal Shams, causing minor damage. The reason is stated balloon shooting to monitor the Israeli army or artillery shelling from Syria to Israel.

The Israeli army holds the Syrian regime responsible for the shooting of Israel, announced the army, and stressed that it would continue to respond to any violation of Israeli sovereignty.
