Tehran talks about a close tripartite summit between Russia, Turkey and Iran
ARK News.. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Syed Abbas Mousavi, announced, on Monday, June 15, the holding of a trilateral summit between Iran, Russia and Turkey soon.
And the Iranian "Tasnim" agency quoted Mousavi’s remarks in a press conference, which the Iranian Foreign Ministry account on Twitter had announced.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, arrived on Sunday to Turkey, according to the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the visit aims to discuss bilateral relations at all levels, and regional and international issues.
Turkish diplomatic sources told Anatolia that Zarif will visit Istanbul.
As of now, the Turkish and Russian foreign ministries have not confirmed any approach to a tripartite summit with Iran, according to the Iranian declaration.
