Masrour Barzani addressed a request to the Director of Duhok Police regarding the Kurdish refugees
ARK News.. The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, on Thursday, contacted police chiefs in the provinces of the Kurdistan Region to inquire about the progress of security measures in light of the curfew imposed due to the emerging Coronavirus.
Masrour Barzani held a video call with the police directors in Erbil, Sulaimaniyah, and Duhok.
The Prime Minister thanked the security forces that "work day and night to protect the people of the region from the new epidemic of the Coronavirus and put their lives at risk."
Erbil police chief, Diler Najjar, said during the call that he spent more than 20 hours a day on the streets of Erbil and its neighborhoods to check on the smooth running of things.
The region's prime minister stressed that by joining forces with citizens, security forces and medical teams, this epidemic can be overcome.
Masrour Barzani renewed his call to the citizens to adhere to the health instructions and the instructions of the Ministry of Interior and not to leave homes.
Barzani called the director of Duhok Police for caring for the refugees and ensuring their affairs and protection, especially in light of the spread of the Coronavirus.
