The fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of the Peshmerga Mohammed Rashid Ahmed

ARK News: Thursday, 09. 04. 2020 marks the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of the Peshmerga Mohammed Rashid Ahmed.

The martyr Mohammed Rashid Ahmed was born in the village of Giri of Girke Lake who is from a working father who worked in agriculture and raising livestock in the village to earn their daily living.

He studied an elementary school in the village from 1983 to 1988 to work with his father and he traveled to Damascus and worked there until he joined military service in 1994 for two years.

After the outbreak of the Syrian revolution and the danger of the situation he forced to leave Damascus and resort to Kurdistan of Iraq on 20 - 11 - 2012 and settled in the city of Semail in the province of Duhok.

He Joined the Zeravani forces fifth session, and the martyr participated in the liberation of the Aske Mosul and his specialty was the driver of the Dushka car and he was then assigned as a driver in the regiment administration.

He was martyred on 09. 04.015, with a sniper bullet while he was in his duty, where he distributed the livelihood in the front lines

The martyr left behind him a boy, and three daughters. He was buried in the cemetery of the village of his birthplace.
