Afrin.. Clashes among Turkish-backed factions trigger security tension

ARK News.. Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that yesterday evening clashes broke out between gunmen of Turkish-backed factions in Afrin, because one of the “Kurdish Hawks” faction’s vehicle crossed a security checkpoint belonging to “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya”. Clashes took place with machine guns between the two sides, while “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” faction managed to capture “Kurdish Hawks” members.

Meanwhile, tension is prevailing in Afrin city between the two factions.

The Syrian Observatory, on April 5, that gunmen from Homs, who have been displaced to Al-Ra’i area in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, killed a Turkish-backed fighter in a refugee camp in Al-Ra’i. The displaced gunmen shot dead the Turkish-backed fighter after he had opened fire indiscriminately over the tents in a camp in the area, causing panic among displaced people there.
