ARK News: The United Nations seemed to oppose the return of Syrian refugees to their country in the current circumstances.
"We cannot allow the return of refugees in dangerous circumstances," UNHCR spokesman Filippo Grandi told a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Haikou Mas in Berlin.
"Five million refugees are currently in neighboring countries, and the United Nations cannot guarantee the return of such a number of people in case the conflict continues," he added.
Russia has worked and established a reception, distribution and accommodation center for Syrian refugees, which operates under the supervision of the Russian Foreign and Defense Ministries and regime authorities that based in Damascus.
Russia seeks to float the Assad regime internationally through the file of the return of refugees, but several countries expressed their rejection of the Russian plan before deciding on a political solution in Syria.
