The WHO warns of the danger of Iranian visitors to Syria

ARK News.. The World Health Organization has warned of the danger of deteriorating conditions related to the Coronavirus in Syria due to visiting religious shrines, in reference to the Iranian and Iraqi delegations.

The representative of the World Health Organization in Syria, "N’ama Sayed Abd", said in statements to Russian media that so far 10 cases have been recorded, including two deaths due to infection of the new Corona virus "COVID-19" in the Syrian territories in general.
The organization added: "Nevertheless, the World Health Organization evaluates the situation in Syria seriously due to two reasons. The first is the nature of the infection, as almost all of them were monitored by citizens returning from abroad, which means that their number may be greater, while the second is that it receives visitors from countries of the region ".

The representative of the World Health Organization stated that the talk is about the shrine of Sayyida Zaynab and the shrine of Sayyida Ruqayya in Damascus, and they are a kiss for many visitors from the countries of the region where the epidemic appeared on a large scale, especially Iran, as well as Iraq, Lebanon and Pakistan

It added: "Therefore, the entry of the virus into Syria is very possible, and this matter really happened, and as a result of the exceptional circumstances that the country suffers from for more than 9 years, the effects of the epidemic will certainly be high."
