Warning from WHO's Senior Emergency Expert
ARK News.. World Health Organization Chief Emergency Officer Mike Ryan warned on Sunday that imposing sanitary isolation is not enough to defeat the Corona virus, adding that there is a need for public health measures to prevent the re-emergence of the virus later.
"What we really need is to find patients and those who carry the virus, isolate them, and find those who have mixed with them and isolate them," Ryan said in an interview with Andrew Marsh Show on BBC television». He added, "if there are no strong public health measures now, then the risk is that the disease will return again when these restrictions on movement and the decisions to close are lifted," according to Reuters news agency.
On Sunday, a press report stated that more than 900 million people were quarantined in the countries of the world that had been hit by "Covid 19".
The outbreak accelerated in recent days in Britain, after killing 177 people.
