World Health: Europe has become the epicenter of the international virus and coronavirus, reaching 5,000 cases
ARK News.. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, General Director of the World Health Organization, announced Friday that Europe has become a center for the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19).
"More new cases are being reported every day in Europe, more than what was happening in China at the height of the disease," Adhanum was quoted by Bloomberg News as saying at a press conference on Friday.
Adhanom said that the death toll due to the virus in the world amounted to five thousand cases, while the number of infections internationally exceeded 132 thousand cases.
Adhanom added that canceling sporting occasions and events would help reduce the spread of the deadly virus.
