ARK News.. German newspaper Bild said on Thursday, without mentioning its source, that some victims of an attack carried out by a suspected right-wing extremist in the town of Hanau are of Kurdish origin.

The newspaper said that four young men and a woman were among the nine killed in an attack on two smoking hookah cafes. It added that among the dead were people of Kurdish origin.

German media said that the perpetrator of the attack on the two cafes in southwestern Germany, which left at least 9 people dead, left a video and a letter of acknowledgment of his responsibility for the attack. According to the German newspaper "Bild", the motives for committing the crime are still unknown.

According to RT, the police believe that one person carried out the attack on the two cafes to smoke a hookah, and later committed suicide at his home, where his body was found there, which is German, and the police arrested his father for interrogation.

Police said they found ammunition in the attacker's car, noting that he had previously obtained a hunting weapon license.

German police had said that the suspect in the shooting near Frankfurt was found dead in his house, in addition to another dead body, and said that eight people were killed, on Wednesday, in two shootings in a German city near Frankfurt, and that special forces were chasing the gunmen who fled in a car.

Heavily armed police forces blocked two streets in Hanau, where ambulances rushed, and a police helicopter flew over the city east of Frankfurt which is a financial center.
