A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook, on 07.02.2020, that the logging processes are still continuing in the Bulbul district in front of the sight and hearing of the Turkish forces in spite of the protests by the people in front of the Turkish military headquarters during the past month, and we have indicated this twice without the responsible and concerned authorities in ordering their duties and investigating these crimes.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that more than fifteen gunmen from the Ahrar Al Sharqiya faction controlling the village of Atmana of Rajo township have employed settlers with them for more than ten days of cutting down more than 3000 olive trees for one of the forcibly displaced Kurds from Quda village of Rajo township, under the pretext of belonging and dealing with him with previous self-management.

The organization confirmed that the aforementioned faction had randomly cut down more than 15,000 olive trees from the lands located on the road between the villages of Dumilya and Quda township, and had reached the seven Maydana villages of Rajo township, without the intervention of the Turkish forces and civil police.
