ARK News: A delegation from some Kurdish parties in Kurdistan of Syria is scheduled to meet with a Russian delegation at the Russian Hmeimeem base, but the meeting was postponed due to a dispute between the participating parties.

A private source, who preferred not to be named, told ARK Media Foundation, on Monday, February 3, 2020: That a dispute arose between the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria, because the PYD insisted that the delegation is to be in the name of its administration.

The source added: Because the Progressive Party rejected the PYD’s proposal, the meeting was postponed indefinitely. On the position of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti - Sheikh Ali's wing), the source confirmed that the aforementioned party did not object to the PYD’s proposal.

Media outlets earlier revealed a meeting between the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti), the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria and Russian officials at the Russian Hmeimeem base, without revealing any other details.
