At Tartous University .. grades are distributed according to "mediator"

ARK News: The students of the second year faculty of Human Medicine, who are studying at Tartous University affiliated with the government of the regime, said that they were surprised by the fact that the faculty’s teachers are biased towards the sons of officials who do not always attend the lectures.

According to a private source, the teachers of the Faculty of Human Medicine at Tartous University gave high marks in the practical section for the sons of officials, indicating that a number of them did not take the exam.

The source indicated that the high marks were given to the sons of the university’s teaching staff, the director of health, the College of Tourism, and the sons of officers in the Assad regime, pointing out that the full score is 15 degrees, including attendance and study, and 15 others for the practical exam.

The source pointed out that students who do not have a mediator and are considered superior students have obtained lower marks than the sons of officials, adding that at the same time students are afraid to submit complaints to the dean of the college for fear of teachers ’retaliation against them.

It is noteworthy that this incident is not the first of its kind, rather, a number of students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the "Al-Baath" University of the government of the regime in the city of Homs last year complained that the sons of officials received high marks despite that they were not attending the lectures, according to our correspondent.
