The regime announces the exposure of Banyas refinery to attack from "underwater"
ARK News: The regime's oil ministry said that what it described as "terrorists" targeted the Banyas refinery in Tartous, near the Mediterranean coast, using divers to plant explosives in underwater pipelines.
The ministry said in a statement, that targeting the oil sector and hitting maritime stalls in Banyas by what it described as human frogs, resulted in damage to them.
It added that "the technical cadres affiliated with it, immediately began assessing the damages resulting from targeting to start the repairs," noting that "alternative plans have been put in place to maneuver and to ensure the continuing work of the downstream of crude oil and all other derivatives," according to the ministry’s saying.
In June of last year, the Ministry of Oil affiliated with the regime announced the targeting of a number of marine lines for the oil terminals in Banyas, which caused an oil spill in the downstream area and a number of stations were broken.
