The Tal Tamr locality of the ENKS appreciates the role of Kurdish leaders in supporting the issue of the Kurdish people in Syria

ARK News: The Tal Tamr locality of the Kurdish National Council in the Syria, on Friday, 24.01.2020, held its regular meeting in the town of Tal Tamr, with the majority of members present, according to the page of the locality.

After standing for a minute of silence on the lives of the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan, foremost among them the immortal Barzani and the spirit of the martyr Peshmerga Majdal Muhammad, the talk was made of the latest political developments, which centered around several key points:

The diplomatic tour of the presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria in Istanbul and their meeting with the National Coalition for the Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces and their meeting with Mr. James Jeffrey, the US President's Special Representative.

- The suffering of our displaced people in Afrin, Sari Kaniye, Gire Spi, and the countryside of Tel Tamr.

- Initiatives aimed at unifying the Kurdish position

As for the organizational situation: The report received from the Local Councils Affairs Office was read

- It was also stressed that the commitment to the policy of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and its national constants

- A committee has been formed to register and document the names of our displaced families to return to their homes

At the end of the meeting, they appreciated the role and endeavors of the leader Masoud Barzani and the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani in supporting the issue of the Kurdish people in Syria and their support in all international meetings and forums.

To thank the Barzani Charity Foundation for providing humanitarian assistance to the displaced people of Syrian Kurdistan in refugee camps in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and to deliver humanitarian aid to the Kurdistan Region of Syria to the displaced of Sari Kaniye, Gire Spi, Afrin and the countryside of Tel Tamr.
