ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook on Thursday, 23.01.2020, that members of the Political Security affiliated to the Military Police and Turkish Intelligence, on Thursday afternoon, 23.01.2020, kidnapped, a member of the local council of Afrin city Horo Osman, and his fate remains unknown.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said and with the except that the pro-Turkish factions and groups are carrying out the operation of theft and looting and armed robbery and indiscriminate kidnapping, and seizure of property of residents and logging olive trees, and deliberately under the supervision of the Turkish intelligence through creating an atmosphere of intimidation, terror, and insecurity and instability (creating chaos) in order to displace the remaining Kurdish people.

The Organization added that the number of cutting off olive trees in Bulbul township alone has exceeded more than 100,000 trees so far.

The series of violations continues in Afrin region, which was controlled by Turkey and the armed factions, March 18, 2018, and organized chaos has spread in light of the poor security conditions and the large number of killings, kidnappings and arrests, not to mention the looting of agricultural crops and the cutting of fruit and olives trees for firewood, which aims to demographic change.
